Recursively ftp a directory using wget

If you need to recursively download multiple files from a ftp server you can do so easily using a combination of wget and ftp.

wget -r ftp://username:password@ftpserver.com/

By default the wget -r option limits the recursive depth to 5. If you need more you can set a max depth using the -l option or alternatively use wget -m (--mirror) command to mirror the directory instead of the wget -r command as shown below:

wget -m ftp://username:password@ftpserver.com/

A very handy command!
